Service. Innovation.
COMMUNITY.
At The Wash House, we’re breaking the cycle of intergenerational poverty by creating life-altering opportunities and providing quality of life services through a mixed use and culturally relevant commercial development model. We target underserved, minority communities in the South plagued by historical resource inequity, educational disadvantage, and the digital divide. Through our innovative structure that empowers local aesthetic entrepreneurs, provides key hygienic resources, and enables intergenerational learning and development, The Wash House offers a holistic resource to disadvantaged communities.

SELF EMPOWERMENT
In renter based communities where many low income households don’t have a laundering equipment on site or transportation to laundry services, we provide local laundering solutions to boost self esteem and quality of life while introducing individuals to our other resources

CAPACITY BUILDING
The Community Innovation Center directly works to close broadband access in an effort alleviate the deep digital divide that besets underserved communities. We will develop professional skills and educational excellence in an effort to directly address economic outcomes

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
The Coworking Space for Aesthetic Professional develops local entrepreneurs who provide beauty services that the African American community and researchers alike identify as essential to preparing mentally and physically for the workplace or classroom
